Woodmont Charter School celebrates a night of memorable recognition of sportsmanship and teamwork with their athletes and coaches at their year-end Sports Banquet. The evening was filled with a free steak dinner, salad, drinks, and cake for dessert which were donated by local businesses (Outback Steakhouse, Carrabas, Sam’s Club, and Publix). They had a guest speaker, USF Defensive End, Eric Lee, who motivated students and families. Other local businesses were supportive with recognizing Woodmont students by donating to their drawings such as 5 Sports Authority gift cards and Tampa Bay Rowdies Family 4-pack to their professional soccer game and apparel items. Furthermore, each guest received a free pass to Planet Fitness, free Taco Bell tacos, and a Sports Authority coupon. Also, local high school youth group volunteered their time to help serve this evening’s fun event.
